At the Charles Dennis Foundation, our annual tournament is about much more than competition. Each year, there is one group of people who plays an essential role in making this event possible: our referees.

Referees are one of the most important parts of any soccer tournament. They help protect the integrity of the game, keep matches fair, and create an environment where players can compete with confidence. Their presence brings structure, accountability, and balance to every match. Without referees, the tournament simply would not be what it is.

What many people may not realize is that referees give far more than their time on the field. If you would like to referee at our upcoming 5v5 Tournament on June 6th at Patriots Point, we would love to hear from you. Referees are needed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and compensation is $30 per hour for 2 games. Please reach out to us to get involved and help support a tournament with a purpose.
